“As someone who has never really owned a pet, I was very confused as to what to do once we discovered that we had community cats at work. Luckily, I was referred to Cat Tales who were extremely knowledgeable and helpful on what to do with our new furry friends.

They first made sure that the mother and her 3 children were cared for until we were able to do the TNR. That process was extremely easy thanks to their help as they were able to provide traps and bait which worked flawlessly.

During this time, we discovered that one of the cats had a broken leg and so Cat Tales was generous enough to lend us everything that we would need to keep him safe until the leg healed.

Most remarkably, their assistance did not end after the TNR. They continue to provide donations such as food and shelters to lessen the burden of caring for a cat community.

Thanks to Cat Tales:  Princess Dragon Mom, White Pantyhose, Lightning Face & Knee High Stockings no longer have to worry about their next meal or mate plus they have been vaccinated to keep them happy and healthy.” Marcus, Colony Caretaker in Chapel Hill

We’ve been working to TRAP, NEUTER, VACCINATE and RETURN unowned, “community cats” at colonies in Chapel Hill since we launched our program in 2023. We provide boots-on-the-ground assistance in addition to educating, empowering, and loaning equipment to anyone wanting to learn and take action. TNVR is the only humane solution to cat overpopulation. And it’s incredibly fun and rewarding!
